The concept of the trip was a very good idea. No improvement necessary and we would recommend this tour to others. For first time campvaners we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the itinerary was well thought out. I personally thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The whole concept was great, the guide book / itinerary was excellent and easy to follow with many excellent suggestions of things to do and see and suggestions of where to eat. The idea of visiting the high country stations was great because it offered a chance to see parts of NZ that is not generally available to the general public. That particularly appealed to me, it made the trip rather special.
Appreciated the starter pack which as a lovely idea, and nibbles supplied by Jane at drinks before tea, that really helped the group to gel in the first few days. The whole trip was excellent, very enjoyable and I certainly appreciated the amount of effort the both of you put into the smooth running of the venture. Yes we would recommend Roving Kiwi to friends and family. The Tour Hosts were exemplary – particularly at the start when we were nervous about using the dump station for the first time- thanks. In particular, we were very impressed with your comprehensive planning and attention to detail. The concept was innovative and creative and ideal for 2020 considering what a year this has been!
We enjoyed going to places we would otherwise have not been able to access, meeting and spending time with likeminded adventurous people and learning more about our amazing country. We just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our ROVING KIWI campervan tour through the high country of Otago and the West Coast. Every day was a new adventure with new discoveries. It was very exciting to learn first hand from the owner of a high country sheep station about their daily challenges and to join them at the dinner table for a delicious home cooked meal.
Having our own motorhome, gave us the flexibility and freedom to spend the day at our leisure to visit the points of interest as described in the itinerary. At the end of the day, we caught up again with our fellow travellers, enjoying a good glass of wine and nibbles and discussed the highlights of the day.
We felt very privileged to be part of this tour group and we can’t thank you enough for the time and effort you spend in organizing and putting together this complete and exciting itinerary. Wishing you all the best with your future tours!
